Dr. Emily Haygeman
Hi, I'm Dr. Emily Haygeman, Psychologist and Owner of Empower Who You Are. I work as a Licensed Psychologist in Oregon and Utah. Through a range of modalities- including individual therapy, family therapy, and psychological evaluation, I offer opportunities for client empowerment. You will notice I do not mention services aimed at "fixing" a problem or "improving" yourself. That is because I believe that each of my clients already has, within and around them, the tools they need in order to heal. Where I come in is to offer my knowledge of "what works" based on the scientific evidence, alongside my compassionate approach to children, teens, young adults, and families.
Who I Work With (not limited to): Neurodivergent and autistic individuals, children and teens dealing with anxiety and depression, those seeking diagnostic clarity through Psychological Evaluation.
Fees: $130/hr therapy rate
$225/hr neuropsychological evaluation rate
I do not currently bill insurance, though I provide a Superbill which clients may submit to insurance for reimbursement.

Current Offerings
Quality Comprehensive Psychological Evaluations
Social Skills Training/ Mindfulness Training
Therapy
I offer top-quality psychological evaluations for children, adolescents, and adults. Each evaluation is individualized to fit the referral needs, and results in a comprehensive psychological evaluation report. Feedback is integrative with each family and individual, and I am happy to consult with treatment providers and schools.
In addition to evaluations for a range of referral questions, I specialize in Autism Spectrum Disorders across the lifespan. Please see the "What I Offer" page for information on my training in these areas.
I offer social-skills training for children on the autism spectrum or with other unique neurodevelopmental needs (such as nonverbal learning disorder, alcohol and related neurodevelopmental disorder, and others).
I also offer mindfulness coaching sessions for parents and children or individually for older children and teens. In these sessions, you and your child will learn evidence-based mindfulness tools to reduce stress and increase well-being. On a case-by-case basis, this can also include parent-child yoga sessions or kid yoga sessions!
I offer therapy for children and teens. I approach therapy from a holistic, mindfulness-based approach which is also informed by principles of Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT). With young children, parents are an integral part of therapy and I utilize principles from attachment theory and Child Parent Psychotherapy (CPP) in session.
